Systecon performs spares analysis for Plastal AB

Systecon will make a preliminary study of Plastals spare part solution for their plant in Gothenburg. Plastal is a leading supplier of injection-moulded and surface-treated plastic to the automotive industry in Europe. The plant in Gothenburg supply Volvo Car Corporations plan in Gothenburg with front and rear bumper for the Volvo S80/V70 and XC90 cars. The production is governed by Volvo Cars production demands. Plastal delivers in sequence directly to the assembly area in Volvo Cars production plant. This puts high demands on Plastals production capabilities. Systecon will perform the analysis with the use of the spare part optimization tool OPUS10.
